CSITSS-2017 is an opportunity for academics, Industries, practitioners and consultants from around the globe who are involved in the research, technology deployment, management, development and implementation of SMAC systems and concepts to combat societal challenges to come together and exchange ideas.  There are several strong strands of research developing in the SMAC area including the understanding of threats and risks which is societal importance using intelligent and sustainable systems which are reactive and responsive to user incident.
